MagBIO research showcased at the 9th International Meeting on Magnetotactic Bacteria in Qingdao (China)
Researchers from MagBIO partners Aston University, the University of Sheffield, and the University of the Basque Country (EHU) presented their findings at the at the 9th International Meeting on Magnetotactic Bacteria (MTB2026) in Qingdao, China.
MTB2026 highlighted recent progress in magnetotactic bacteria research, exploring diverse fields such as ecology, evolution, molecular biology, and geobiology. Alongside these fundamental topics, the event focused on innovative applications in materials science, biotechnology, and biomedicine.
